1.      WHAT DOES THE TITLE MEAN IN RELATION TO THE FILM AS A WHOLE?
Life of Pi, the title means.. About the struggles and hardships of Piscine (his full name). In relation to that, it talks about his life, and how he conquered every obstacle that he had encountered.
2.      AMONG THE CHARACTERS, TO WHOM CAN YOU RELATE TO?
I can relate myself to Pi because like him, I am determined to face all my problems and I can still smile and think positive whenever I feel hopeless.
3.      WHICH PART OF THE PRESENTATION STRUCK YOU THE MOST? WHY?
When Pi and Richard Parker was in the middle of nowhere and Pi seems so hopeless but he still chose to be-friend with and animal who is in fact, a ferocious kind of creature.
4.      WHAT IS THE MOVIE’S MESSAGE?
The movie’s message is that you should never give up in whatever hardships that you may encounter because in the end, you will be strong and tough. And also, it conveys the power of faith, if you have faith with God; you can surpass any mental and spiritual challenges.
5.      DID I LIKE THIS IN GENERAL? WHY?
I really live this movie because you can end up scratching your head at how the producer and his team managed to convey such amazingly convincing and terrifyingly close contact between Pi and the Bengal Tiger. And I really like the movie because it has a moral story and everybody can relate to it.
6.      DID I AGREE WITH THE MAIN THEME/ PUROPSE? WHY OR WHY NOT?
Yes, because the purpose of this story is that you should not be hopeless. And also, even animals have feeling too even they are ferocious as a tiger.
7.      WHAT SPECIFICALLY DID I LIKE OR DISLIKE? WHY?
I like it when Pi didn't give up to be-friend with Richard Parker even though its risky to get close with a rude animal.
8.       ARE THERE ANY ASPECTS OF THEME WHICH ARE LEFT AMBIGUOUS AT THE END? WHY?
Yes, The viewers are left with doubts about the actual facts. You can say that the story couldn't be more beautiful, and I couldn't be more miraculous.
9.      HOW DOES THIS FILM RELATE TO THE THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING TO YOUR LIFE?
I can relate it to the things that are happening to my life because I can also encounter problems that are big as the waves of the ocean and I can feel that I’m losing my grip. But because of my faith, with God, and also people around me, I can manage to smile and say to myself, “all is well”.
